Visit to the Rova d'Ambohimanga by mountain bike/MTB from the Au Bois Vert hotel.
It’s a beautiful loop that awaits you. From Bois Vert you will quickly reach the first rice fields which you will cross using the dykes. After 5 km you carefully travel the road to continue in the middle of the rice fields before starting to climb from 9 km. The following 9 km will have an ascending profile with approximately 325 m of D+ to finish at pk 18 at the gates of the Rova d'Ambohimanga, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. This will be an opportunity to visit this historic site and also take the opportunity for a lunch break. Then you will leave for the return route which will be different from the outward journey. You will begin the return journey with a long descent of just under 2 km. You will then have a generally hilly profile lasting 5.5 km before starting a long ascent of 2.5 km with 170 m of D+. The last 15 km will be much less physical, a descent then a long flat section in the middle of the rice fields before reaching the Bois Vert hotel.
