1-Who is Mbike Adventure ?

Mbike Adventure is a branch of the Mbike Madagascar group, focused on bike rental and the promotion of cycling through the beauty of Madagascar. Our unique tours offer an immersive experience, combining adventure and cultural discovery

2-What does Mbike Adventure do ?

Mbike Adventure organizes cycling trips, offering cycling enthusiasts the opportunity to discover Madagascar in a unique way. . Our guides will take you through scenic trails and stunning landscapes allowing participants to connect with nature while discovering the cultural richness of the island.

3-What bikes do you rent?

Mbike Adventure offers you semi-rigid and full suspension mountain bikes. We also have electric assist bikes which are equipped with an electric motor which provides pedaling assistance. This electric assistance allows the cyclist to pedal more easily, especially on climbs or over longer distances. These VAEs combine human propulsion with electrical support to make traveling by bike easier.

5-Are there any age or license requirements required?

Our courses and bikes are suitable for all types of physical and technical levels. We provide you with baby gates as well as shot gun saddles for children aged 9 months and over.

On the other hand, any minor tenant must at least be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them. And/or he must have a guarantor in the event of an accident.

6-What is the cost of renting a bike?

Our bikes are rented from 55,000Ar for single bikes and 145,000Ar for electrically assisted bikes. For children's bikes, it's 40,000 Ar and baby carriers at 30,000 Ar

7-What payment methods do you accept?

Our payment methods: either in cash or by check or by transfer or by Mvola

8-Are there any additional costs to take into account?

Our prices only include helmets.

The additional costs are for: the guide, the transfer and the picnic lunches…

9-What is the minimum and maximum rental period?

We rent bikes either for half a day or for a day. Indeed, long-term rental is possible.

10-Can I extend the rental while I already have the bike?

Indeed, it is possible to extend the rental while you already have the bike.

11-Where can I return the bike at the end of the rental?

We can arrange to deliver and collect the bikes during the rental. But you can also drop it off at our store in Ambatobe.

12-How can I return the bike outside opening hours?

You will always have to return the bike during opening hours, so either you postpone dropping off the bike the next day or exceptionally, you can drop it off at our workshop in Antsahavola.

13-How are the bicycles maintained?

Our bikes are maintained by our workshop to offer you an unforgettable experience and so that you can enjoy your ride.

14-What to do in the event of a mechanical problem during the rental?

We provide you with experienced guides who have knowledge of mechanics and can help you out. Also, we can still intervene in the event of a serious breakdown.

15-When is there insurance?

The tenant must have repatriation insurance in the event of a serious accident. He must be aware that in the event of an accident, the emergency means available in Madagascar are limited. The MBIKE company cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for any bodily injury.

16-Do you provide safety equipment, such as helmets?

Indeed, wearing a helmet is obligatory. It is also strongly recommended to wear sunglasses, protective clothing and appropriate shoes (sun, branches, insects, etc.).

17-What is the policy in the event of damage or theft to the bicycle?

In all cases, the tenant is responsible for his bicycle from the moment he leaves the premises until his return. The rented bikes are in good condition. If the bike is damaged, damaged, damaged or stolen... the charges are entirely the responsibility of the tenant and will be re-invoiced to him

18-What are the payment terms?

Payment conditions: 50% upon reservation and 50% on the day of rental. The reservation of the bikes will only be confirmed once the deposit has been paid. The deposit paid will not be refunded if there is cancellation.

20- What are your hours?

Tuesday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. We are closed on Monday. But rental is available 7 days a week, even if the store is closed rentals will still be possible.
