After the briefing, you will begin your walk passing the Ivato farm on a wide and lightly traveled track. You will continue on this track for a few kilometers, before turning north on a long descent of 1300 meters. The end of the descent and the start of the cobblestones will announce a beautiful cobbled ascent of 950 meters and a positive altitude difference of 60 meters. At the top of this climb you will quickly cross the village of Ambohitsimeloka. You will finally be able to recover from this long climb by staying for 500 meters on this same paved road but this time with a slightly descending slope profile. The recovery part will end at the end of the cobblestone portion, where you will then take a 90 degree right for a climb on a dirt track. This 700 meter climb will take you to the final descent to Croc Farm. As you cycle through the picturesque paths, the Malagasy landscape reveals itself, offering captivating views.
