Ambatoloaka - Large loop of the lakes - Mountain bike route

You leave Ambatoloka by taking the asphalt road, shortly after the power station you take the track, after 2 km you will enter the Ylang-ylang plantations before reaching the barrier of the Hassanaly estate. On your right the old workers' houses before seeing the Hassanaly family house. You will then walk along the banks of the river before putting down your bikes and finishing on foot for 100 meters to admire a magnificent waterfall. Swimming is possible. You will return to the Hassanaly house then continue on beautiful mountain bike trails for around ten km. You pass in front of the gate of the Djamandzar rum distillery which is now completely abandoned. Finally you will rejoin the asphalt road and you will go up a hundred meters towards the north before returning to the beautiful mountain bike trails. After 5 km of tracks you will begin an ascent on a beautiful technical single track which will take you to a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the large Amparihibe lake. The view is beautiful. Then you will continue along the steep ridge of Lake Amparahibe on a single technical track. Leaving the northern tip of the lake you will join wider mountain bike trails before reaching Lake Andjavibe which is home to crocodiles. It can be seen on the east bank of the lake at the end of the day when the west bank is then shaded. Finally you join the asphalt road to the west of the island to return to Ambatoloka for approximately 15 km.
