Tulear – Andavadoka circuit

• 1st step

  You will leave Ifaty by taking national road 9 for 1 km before joining the coastal track. Of the 43 km of the stage only the last 10 will allow you to really judge the ability of the Fat bikes to pass through the sand. You can already enjoy the magnificent lagoon and you will end up in a high-end hotel.

• 2nd step

  The second stage between Tsiamdamba and Salary, 25 km long, will alternate tracks along the lagoon and in the Mikea forest. You will be able to pass by the beach on certain sections and ride over an expanse of dunes almost as far as the eye can see. Crossing the villages of Salary South and North will lead to the airstrip at the gates of the Salary Bay hotel where you will be able to go diving with Frédéric.

• 3rd step

  You will leave on the private track of the Salary Bay hotel and after 3 km you will be able to admire a 360-degree viewpoint overlooking the lagoon and also the Mikea forest. At the exit of the private track you will mainly be on sandy tracks in the Mikea forest. The track leading to the Shangri la lodge hotel will be particularly sandy for this end of the stage.

• 4th step

  Particularly beautiful fourth stage which will begin in the Mikea forest then end at the edge of the lagoon on very pleasant tracks similar to single tracks. The stage will end at Pierrot le suisse at the bay of assassins with a view and a warm welcome.

• 5th step

  You will be able to take a Vezo canoe to cross Assassins' Bay from south to north and reach the 10 km track which will take you back to Andavadoka. Or you can take the option of going around the bay on a Vttae fat bike, the stage will be physical with 41 km on the program and long stretches of coarse sand in the Mikea forest. As you approach Andavadoka, you will cross salt pan landscapes.

• 6th step

  After an extremely pleasant night in the superb Olobe Hotel, you will be ready to set off on the return road by 4x4 shuttle.
